Design I: 

Walking Robot

For this project, each team was given some basic parts and a gearbox, and our task was to design the mechanisms which with this robot would walk. We lasercut the acrylic gears to have a mechanical advantage, and also designed the legs to have great efficiency while climbing the hills in the race course.

We ended up finishing in the top two out of all the teams! You can view a short clip of part of our run here: https://youtu.be/hgU-70wlYpU. Note that we were allowed one touch per run to keep the robot going.
